Ragi is also known as Finger Millet or Nachni. Ragi is a gluten-free grain and a powerhouse of nutrients. It is a rich source of Calcium, Iron, Fibre & Protein. Ragi has 3x calcium of milk which makes it a great choice for little ones for bone development. The sprouting process increases nutrient level (it activates enzymes level, increases Vitamin C and minerals) and makes it easily digestible.

Raw Banana Powder is a homemade natural powder using the sun-dried method. It is a good source of Dietary Fiber, Potassium, Magnesium, and other vital Vitamins & Minerals. It is considered to be a good source for children since the raw banana powder is nutritional, won't cause cold & cough and beneficial to gain weight.

Ingredients: Sprouted Ragi, Raw Banana Powder

Cooking Method:

1. Porridge

• Wash your hands and use clean utensils to prepare food.
• Take 2 - 3 tbsp (30g) of the porridge powder in a clean steel vessel.
• Add cup (120ml) of water or milk and mix well to remove the lumps.
• Cook on a medium flame for 3 to 5 minutes & stir continuously to avoid forming lumps.
• As per requirement, you can adjust the thickness by adding water/milk or porridge mix.
• To sweeten the taste add Dates Powder or Jaggery powder. (Vegan Ghee optionally)
• Mix well & feed.

1. Malt Drink

• Take 2- 3 tbsp (30g) of powder in 30ml normal water.
• Mix and Stir thoroughly to remove lumps.
• Now cook on a low flame and pour hot milk (90ml) to the mix. Cook for 3 to 5 minutes and stir continuously to avoid forming lumps.
• To sweeten the taste, add Dates powder or Jaggery powder.

Allergy Info: It does not contain allergic ingredients. Ragi grain & Raw Banana is gluten-free. Product is processed in a manufacturing unit where wheat & gluten-containing products are processed.

Storage Shelf Life:  Best before 9 months from the date of manufacturing.

Once you open the pack, immediately transfer into a clean, dry, airtight container. Keep it safe from direct sunlight & moisture and store in a cool dry place. Since we do not add preservatives, please use it within one month or the expiry date whichever is earlier after opening the pack.

• Mother's milk is best for the baby.
• Weaning food should be introduced only after the first 6 months.
• This product is not the sole source of nourishment for your child.
• Consult your pediatrician before introducing new food to your child.
• Serve the warm porridge & discard any leftovers.

FAQ's:

1. Is it safe for infants/toddlers?

A. Yes. It contains sprouted Ragi & raw Banana powder only and can be given to 7+ months of babies. It does not contain any preservatives, additives, added sugar, added salt or milk solids. Ragi is a great source for Calcium, Iron, Fiber and Protein. Raw Banana is a rich source of Fiber, Potassium & Magnesium. You can start with smaller quantities and once your baby shows no signs of allergies, you may slowly increase the quantity as suggested and/or required.

2. Can it be given with milk to infants?

A. Yes, you can give if the baby is already shifted to cow's milk (or other prescribed milk). However, we suggest introducing cow's milk after the age of 1 year. Do consult your pediatrician before introducing new food or combination to your baby.

• For Metro (Vendor) to Metro (Customer) deliveries, between 2-4 working days from the date of Dispatch.

Cancellation: 

• Only possible within 24 hours of placing the order AND if product is not already shipped from the vendor location.

Refunds, Returns & Replacements: 

• Only if you have received an item which is different from what you ordered OR damaged product received or excessive delay in shipment of the products

• Products that you have used cannot be returned.

• Packaging of the product as received from the vendor should be intact, unless breaking the seal of the package is essential to determining the state / quality of the product. 

• Refunds & Returns will be subject to the verification by the Vendor of the product returned. We encourage you to intimate us on support@vvegano.com within 24 hours in case of having received a damaged product or incorrect product or poor quality of the product. Exceptions may be made for issues raised after 24 hours based on a case-by-case basis after discussion with the vendor.
