We are a group of people with a common goal; to live in a way that we cause minimum harm, and live to do maximum good work. It's our understanding that physical pain is objectively bad. So for us, reducing pain, and nurturing changes that reduce pain is an objective good.

Peepal Farm is a stray animal rescue, a no-till organic farm, and a women-powered small scale social enterprise. It started out as a home that we built with space for injured stray animals to heal & be heard, for people who wanted to help, and for us to be able to organically farm, while reducing our harm. Instead of putting in a swimming pool, we built a cow shed. Instead of media room, we have a clinic. Instead of having master bedrooms, we made rooms for those who want to come here and experience a simple, sustainable and purposeful life.

We started constructing the place on December 9, 2014 in a small village near Dharamsala, Himachal Pradesh and were operational by August 2015.

We started doing good as we believed in doing the right thing. We have observed that doing good is not only good in that sense, but also feels great.

Philosophy

The philosophy behind this was to reduce our suffering footprint (the suffering we cause in the course of living), and making our survival purposeful by doing good work.

We do this in short term by helping injured animals that we see, and in the long term by nudging people away from destructive behaviors.

Time taken to Ship:

• Shipment Dispatched between 1-3 working days from the date of order. May take longer based on availability of the product. For urgent deliveries, exceptions will be made on a case-by-case basis.

• For Metro (Vendor) to Metro (Customer) deliveries, between 2-4 working days from the date of Dispatch.
• For Non-Metro Destinations, It could take between 4-7 working days from date of Dispatch.
• We aim to deliver the products at the earliest, but this is the average time it could take depending upon the customer location.

Cancellation: 

• Only possible within 24 hours of placing the order AND if product is not already shipped from the vendor location.

Refunds, Returns & Replacements: 

• Only if you have received an item which is different from what you ordered OR damaged product received or excessive delay in shipment of the products

• Products that you have used cannot be returned.

• Packaging of the product as received from the vendor should be intact, unless breaking the seal of the package is essential to determining the state / quality of the product. 

• Refunds & Returns will be subject to the verification by the Vendor of the product returned. We encourage you to intimate us on support@vvegano.com within 24 hours in case of having received a damaged product or incorrect product or poor quality of the product. Exceptions may be made for issues raised after 24 hours based on a case-by-case basis after discussion with the vendor.

• In case of replacement, it is subject to the availability of stock. In case that a replacement may not be available, we will refund you the full amount.
