Meron Refined Carrageenan Vegetarian Jelly Powder 100 Grams

Ingredients: Carrageenan is made up of sodium, potassium, magnesium and calcium sulphate esters of galactose and 3, 6-anhydrogalactose units. It is a whollyatural ingredient obtained from certain species of red edible seaweed called the Class Rhodophyceae. The popular sources for Carrageenan are the ChondrusCripus, EucheumaCottonii and EucheumaSpinosum species.

The Chondruscrispus species grows mainly in cold water territories such as theorthern coasts of the Atlantic while the Eucheuma species are abundantly found in tropical climates like the Philippines. The Philippines has successfully launched and maintainedumerous EucheumaCottonii and EucheumaSpinosum seaweed farms providing ample supply and good quality to meet the growing demand.

There are three Carrageenan types which are of commercial interest because of the various applications of hydrocolloids in food and other industrial uses. They are called the Iota, Kappa and Lambda Carrageenan. Marine Hydrocolloids Carrageenan uses the EucheumaCottonii for the production of Kappa Carrageenan and the EucheumaSpinosum for Iota Carrageenan. ChondrusCrispus species is used for production of Lambda Carrageenan.

Recipe for making Lemon Jelly with refined carrageenan

Ingredients

 1 / 2 cup of Sugar                                                

3 – 4 teaspoons of refined carrageenan                      

Few drops of yellow food coloring agent and lemon flavor                                       

One and half cup of lemon juice                                 

2 cups of water

 Preparation: In a large bowl, mix refined carrageenan and sugar then pour into warm water and heat the mixture for 15 minutes with continues stirring. Reduce the flame and add lemon juice with proper stirring. Once the mixture boils, off the flame and adds flavor and color. Mix well the solution. Fill into jelly cups. Cool and serve.

Cancellation: 

• Only possible within 24 hours of placing the order AND if product is not already shipped from the vendor location.

Refunds, Returns & Replacements: 

• Only if you have received an item which is different from what you ordered OR damaged product received or excessive delay in shipment of the products

• Products that you have used cannot be returned.

• Packaging of the product as received from the vendor should be intact, unless breaking the seal of the package is essential to determining the state / quality of the product. 

• Refunds & Returns will be subject to the verification by the Vendor of the product returned. We encourage you to intimate us on support@vvegano.com within 24 hours in case of having received a damaged product or incorrect product or poor quality of the product. Exceptions may be made for issues raised after 24 hours based on a case-by-case basis after discussion with the vendor.

• In case of replacement, it is subject to the availability of stock. In case that a replacement may not be available, we will refund you the full amount.
