Meethi Kahani's Vegan Sunshine Barfi

This barfi is round in shape, with a sunshine yellow outer, hence the name Sunshine Barfi! It has a filling of mixed nuts and seeds and is a must have on a special occasion, or even just because you are worth it!

Background: Barfi gets its name from the Persian word barf which suggests snow since Barfi is comparable to ice/snow in look. This sweet is historically made up of milk, cream and sugar all of which contribute to a decline in short-run and long-run health and is thus not utilized in our product. Barfi is typically of a white or creamy colour and incorporates a thick sweet texture. It always comes in a number of forms namely Kaju (cashew) Barfi/Katli, Pista Barfi, Besan (gram flour) Barfi, Khoya Barfi (made with buffalo milk), Coconut Barfi and even Chocolate Barfi! Barfi is coated with a skinny layer of edible argentiferous leaf, called varakh made from silver or gold leaf. Traditionally these were pounded in books made from buffalo intestines, but recent notifications by the Government of India makes it illegal to make varakh in these intestines. Instead, varakh is made on machines, and we at Meethi Kahani ensure that the varakh we use is certified vegan.

Time taken to Ship:

• Shipment Dispatched between 1-3 working days from the date of order. May take longer based on availability of the product. For urgent deliveries, exceptions will be made on a case-by-case basis.

Time taken for Delivery:

• For Metro (Vendor) to Metro (Customer) deliveries, between 2-4 working days from the date of Dispatch.

Cancellation: 

• Only possible within 24 hours of placing the order AND if product is not already shipped from the vendor location.

Refunds, Returns & Replacements: 

• Only if you have received an item which is different from what you ordered OR damaged product received or excessive delay in shipment of the products

• Products that you have used cannot be returned.

• Packaging of the product as received from the vendor should be intact, unless breaking the seal of the package is essential to determining the state / quality of the product. 

• Refunds & Returns will be subject to the verification by the Vendor of the product returned. We encourage you to intimate us on support@vvegano.com within 24 hours in case of having received a damaged product or incorrect product or poor quality of the product. Exceptions may be made for issues raised after 24 hours based on a case-by-case basis after discussion with the vendor.

• In case of replacement, it is subject to the availability of stock. In case that a replacement may not be available, we will refund you the full amount.
