Kimchi is the korean version of Sauerkraut. Kimchi could be any fermented vegetable essentially from cabbage to bamboo shoots to lotus stem. The best known source of Vitamin C among popular food it is a staple in South East Asian countries cuisine.  It not only helps with the digestion but also makes for a great side dish. No meal is ever complete without a generous serving of kimchi.

Origin: Kimchi originated in China/korea and over years have become popular in Japan, Taiwan and of course Korea. There are said to be over 500 versions of kimchi, one of the most popular being the green cabbbage with red chilly and the other one with Radish.  In Korea its a tradition for new brides to make kimchi and prove their cooking prowess.

Ingredients: Green cabbage, Ginger, Garlic, Leek, Radish, Carrot, Spring onion, Red Pepper, Himalayan Pink Salt and traditional method of fermentation.

As our name suggests, we believe in a strong sense of community, in fact, that’s our vision- we do not look at Kombucha as only a beverage, we look at it as something that symbolises a sustainable way of living, and that’s the community we are building, a community of people who take ownership of the change they want to see in themselves and the world around them. We are no preachers, but we strongly believe in conscious living and taking small actions in our own capacity to preserve the environment around us. This is also reflective in the way we produce Kombucha, we procure all our raw material from local farmers and farmer’s market who are spread across the country. We are building a community of like-minded people who are exploring ways of making a difference in their own capacities.

Mashi is someone who has always lived life by her rules, in her unique, unapologetic manner. We see her embracing challenges with absolute ease and giving every situation her own colour. A natural risk taker, when asked how this journey of brewing and stirring is going for her, she said, “One place where I did not want to be was in the kitchen but as it turns out, I am enjoying it!” Exactly like Kombucha, Mashi comes in many avatars- a friend, partner in crime, boss-lady, activist and dog-lover. Around her, there is never a dull moment and she ensures keeping all the values of community and leadership absolutely intact with love, empathy and creativity! 

The first thought that comes to mind when we think of Vikram is the Iron Throne from GoT,  because that’s how he looks at life- full of thrilling and exciting experiences. Other than talking about his love for Kombucha and Mashi, in his free time, he is always on a look-out to do something new. He was backpacking solo much before the trend caught up in India, one day, you find him learning horse-riding and then on another, he treats you with some amazing home-baked bread. In his own words, “Jo baaki sab kar rahe hain, vahin karoge toh kya mazza hai?” His entrepreneurial spirit of doing something new and his passion for health is what keeps his mind buzzing with all kinds of ideas at MAVI’s Commbucha.

Time taken to Ship:

• Shipment Dispatched between 1-3 working days from the date of order. May take longer based on availability of the product. For urgent deliveries, exceptions will be made on a case-by-case basis.

Time taken for Delivery:

• For Metro (Vendor) to Metro (Customer) deliveries, between 2-4 working days from the date of Dispatch.
• For Non-Metro Destinations, It could take between 4-7 working days from date of Dispatch.
• We aim to deliver the products at the earliest, but this is the average time it could take depending upon the customer location.

Cancellation: 

• Only possible within 24 hours of placing the order AND if product is not already shipped from the vendor location.

Refunds, Returns & Replacements: 

• Only if you have received an item which is different from what you ordered OR damaged product received or excessive delay in shipment of the products

• Products that you have used cannot be returned.

• Packaging of the product as received from the vendor should be intact, unless breaking the seal of the package is essential to determining the state / quality of the product. 

• Refunds & Returns will be subject to the verification by the Vendor of the product returned. We encourage you to intimate us on support@vvegano.com within 24 hours in case of having received a damaged product or incorrect product or poor quality of the product. Exceptions may be made for issues raised after 24 hours based on a case-by-case basis after discussion with the vendor.

• In case of replacement, it is subject to the availability of stock. In case that a replacement may not be available, we will refund you the full amount.
